What a (fairly) long, (somewhat) strange trip it’s been. I am back to taking pictures after many years’ hiatus. This time, it is truly my passion. I love learning from the good work of other photographers and cherish my own stair step progression. Originally from Western Pennsylvania, I spent 19 years in New York City and environs. I have an MFA in film–moom pitchers–from Columbia and my undergrad degree is partly in philosophy. I now live in the Texas Hill Country, one of the most photogenic spots in Texas, yet I gravitate more to urban discoveries. Good thing Austin and San Antonio are close by. Right now I’m having fun with hand coloring, although you wouldn’t know that from the images I’ve posted here. I’m still shooting film mostly, yet teetering on the deep end of the digital pool.
