I’m relatively new to computers. I got my first Mac in 1992. I’m even newer to graphic programs, but I think I’ve started a real love affair with the entire process. I’ve been an amateur photographer for most of my (considerable) life, but I allowed ‘Life’ to distract me for a long time. Recently, due to going back to school, that latent passion has been given new life. Straight photography will always be my love, but I’m discovering what for me at least, is a new way to ‘process’ photographs into something that is an amalgam of photography and a totally new art form. I don’t often use Adobe Photoshop to alter photographs, other than cropping and cleaning up old negatives, and I indicate when I have really altered them, but there are times when I see possibilities that never existed before. I’m a rank amateur, but I’m a fast learner. I feel a bit out of place posting my work on this site; I’m shy about showing it. This is an attempt to overcoming that.

I have so much enjoyed looking at the photographs here. I hope someone finds a degree of pleasure in some of mine.
