Erick Rowe was born in Heidelberg, Germany.   Soon after, his family moved to Lafayette, Indiana where he attended elementary and secondary school.  Erick was a undergraduate at the University of New Mexico and at Purdue University where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine Arts with a focus in Photography.
While at Purdue he was awarded the Steven Sprague award for excellence in photography.  His work has been shown in Albuquerque, New Mexico;  Lafayette, Indiana; Austin, Texas; and Taos, New Mexico. Erick now lives in Chicago while attending Columbia College.
